Matthieu Van de Casteele started his career in 2006 with Voltaire Group SA (Luxembourg) as Administrative Secretary, Legal and Compliance Officer. In 2010, he became Head of Legal and Compliance with Geneva wealth management company Opus Finance SA, a subsidiary of Voltaire Group. He joined Lloyds TSB Private Banking (Geneva) in 2012 as Head of Client Administration Support Unit, then Head of KYC and Account Management.

In February 2014, he joined 1875 FINANCE (Luxembourg) as COO, and was also in charge of developing the Luxembourg branch. In September 2017, he took up the position of Managing Director of 1875 FINANCE (Luxembourg) SA.

Juan Alvarez Hernandez started his career in 2003 as Real Estate Lawyer in Madrid where he handled all the RE’s legal aspects.
In 2011, he moved in Luxembourg and he worked in various institutions like State Street Bank Luxembourg and MAPLESFS (Luxembourg) SA. Since 2015, Juan handled the position of Senior Business & Regulatory Advisor within Deutsche Bank Luxembourg SA.

He joined 1875 FINANCE (Luxembourg) SA.in May 2019

Arly V.L. Petersen hold a BBA in Finance from Copenhagen Business School. He worked for banks, real estate finance and stockbroking companies in Denmark. From 1988, he worked in Luxembourg for Nordea Bank SA as a Relationship Manager for UHNW families through three decades. He showed strong competences in investment portfolio management, with  focus on cross boarder wealth planning with a well-established international network. He Implemented wealth solutions for Nordic families living internationally including relocation of families.

He joined 1875 FINANCE in 2019.

Jørn Tilsted has completed his education in Danish business schools, and started his banking career in 1987 in a local Danish bank. He works and lives in Luxembourg since 1995, holding senior client adviser positions in various banks such as BIL, Nordea and UBS with focus on the Nordic clientele and investment portfolio management. He became a Certified International Analyst ( CIIA ) in 2004.

He joined the 1875 FINANCE ( Luxembourg ) in 2019.

Jens Hansen started his career in 1985 with Privatbanken A/S, Denmark, and in 1989, he moved to Privatbanken Luxembourg SA as a Client Adviser in the Private Banking department. From 1995 to 1997, he was a Client Adviser in a new started Private Banking department taking care of the HNWI/UHNWI clients of Unibank A/S, Denmark. He was a Senior Client Adviser,from 1997 until 2018, with Unibank Luxembourg SA, which later became Nordea Bank Luxembourg SA with a special focus on the cross border Private Banking business for HNWI and UHNWI clients. As Nordea Bank Luxembourg’s Private Banking activities were taken over by UBS Luxembourg in October 2018, he joined UBS Luxembourg.

In August 2019, he joined 1875 Finance (Luxembourg) SA as Director.

Alfonso Batalla started his career in 2014 with Mutuactivos, Madrid, and in 2018, he moved to Metagestion (Grupo Meridional) as a Portfolio manager. From 2018 to 2020, he was in charge of the Metavalor, Metavalor Interncional and Metavalor Pensiones funds, were he won different awards such as the Best Equity Spanish fund in 2021 and others. In 2022 he is promoted to Portfolio Manager and Private Banking director of Grupo Meridional. In 2022 he joins Renta 4 Banco as a sell side equity analyst covering Repsol, Jeronimo Martins, Sonae, Viscofan and others.

In July 2023, he joined 1875 Finance (Luxembourg) SA as a Portfolio Manager.
